Researching the pub

One of the reasons that people visit us is to find out a bit more on how to research the history of their local pub.

On this page we provide a brief guide and a selection of sources that may be useful. Much of the information has been compuiled by Simon Fowler, the Treasurer of the society. Simon has many years  experience in all matters conncerning historical research. If you would like to make use of his services he is available for private research and he has a website at www.history-man.co.uk
